Hi Diana, I saw that you mentioned whey protein isolate and beef protein. Can you tell me if hydrolized gelatin is SIBO-safe? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Dani, Short answer: Yes! Hydrolyzed Gelatin and/or Collagen both contain zero carbohydrate, i.e. nothing to ferment. Therefore both are SIBO-safe. Different brands may be processed differently, though, and quality of starting materials may vary...so look for the cleanest product with no additives.
