SIBO SOS Summit

Just a quick post to make sure you've heard about an awesome webinar event called the SIBO SOS Summit taking place this week! This is the second time the Summit has aired, with all-new videos added for Summit 2. (I've been invited to be a speaker in Summit #3, so stay tuned for more on that!) Click here to watch more than 40 experts from across the SIBOsphere share a wealth of expertise and different perspectives on how to diagnose, treat and manage SIBO.
The SIBO SOS Summit is put together by television show host Shivan Sarna, a lovely human being who just happens to have SIBO. Shivan brings a deep level of warmth and insight to each of her expert interviews, making every session a joy to watch. Presenters include Drs. Allison Siebecker, Nirala Jacobi and Norm Robillard, David Wolfe and many, many more!

There's still time to access the summit for free, so I wanted to share it with you now.

You can also purchase a pass to watch all the videos any time at your leisure.

  1. Hi Diana,

It’s the constipation that’s the killer. You don’t mention if this has improved for you based on the sibo low FODMAP eating plans. What can I do! Thanks.

    1. Hi Elizabeth ~ I agree about the killer C. But bloating is no picnic, either. You are correct, the diet is mostly for reducing symptoms of gut pain and bloating. For constipation and motility issues I use supplements, herbal laxatives from time to time (i.e. Smooth Move tea) and the occasional enema. What have you tried? A good place to start is Magnesium Citrate capsules. Take after dinner or at bedtime. I use 175 mg capsules and do 4 at a pop, along with 1000 mg of buffered vitamin C. I also practice meal spacing and intermittent fasting to support healthy MMC function. (That's Migrating Motor Complex, the small intestine sweeping action which occurs during the fasted state.) Hope that helps!
